It taste great there wasn't any difference in taste that I could tell with the addition of the mango. I will use this recipe again and again.

Pineapple and Mango Upside Down Cake

I've always loved pineapple upside down cake, but have never made it from scratch just from the box. I got this recipe from my Martha Stewart Baking Handbook and wanted to give it a try. It was pretty simple to make and turned out just like the picture. I haven't tasted it yet and there might be a difference in taste do to the addition of mango, but I will report back on that.

Lemon Cake with Candied Lemon Slices

I made this for my boyfriends uncle who is turning 92. It's a buttermilk layer cake flavored with lemon zest and juice, lemon curd filling, swiss meringue buttercream frosting flavored with lemon curd, drizzled with lemon curd, and topped with candied lemon slices.
